Sugar Cosmetics It's A-Pout Time Vivid Lipstick 08 Brownton Abbey - Review & Swatches

Sugar Cosmetics has recently launched few new shades on both matte as hell lip crayon range and vivid lipstick range... I was super excited when saw that July fab bag has one of these sugar lipsticks... You can read my July fab bag unboxing post HERE... I was expecting a matte as hell lip crayon actually but got this pout time vivid lipstick in shade Brownton Abbey ... Initially I was so sad by seeing the lipstick but after opening the bullet, I was super happy by seeing the shade... Yes.. It is a very pretty subtle shade lipstick . Let's get into the review below...

PACKAGING - The lipstick comes in a matte black rectangular case which looks very classy.. The cap is very tight and locks with a click sound. The lipstick top is flat hence little difficult to apply on the inner corner of lips.. The bullet again comes inside a colorful typical sugar cosmetics cardboard box which has all necessary information regarding the product.. I wish there is something which indicates the lipstick shade but no colour coded thing here...

SHADE & TEXTURE - The shade Brownton Abbey is a beautiful peachy brown kind shade which is great for warmer Indian skin tones..It is a perfect shade for daily wear and office wear..

The texture is creamy and soft and glides smoothly on lips.. The lipstick is not much hydrating on lips like there matte as hell lip crayons ,hence I prefer to prep my lips before hand or apply a lip balm underneath it.. The lipstick settle into a complete matte finish after few minutes of application .. It doesn't settle into fine lines of my lips... The colour transfers onto things but that doesn't affect the opacity of the lip colour which is totally appreciable.. It doesn't feel heavy on lips nor dried out my lips..

PIGMENTATION & STAYING ABILITY - The shade Brownton Abbey is super pigmented... One single brings opacity but I prefer two swipes .. One should be careful while applying this ,as it stains.. Though the colour transfers a bit but stays around 6-7 hours on my lips with short snacks in between.. After fading it leaves the stains which is pretty as well..

1- Transfers onto things
2- Leaves stain
3- Not as creamy or hydrating as the matte as hell lip crayons by Sugar cosmetics

Overall Sugar Cosmetics it's a-pout time vivid lipstick Brownton Abbey is a perfect shade for daily wear and office wear... The colour will compliment all Indian complexions .. There are some amazing shades in this range, then what are waiting for.. Buy few for yourself and do share your fav shade of this range with us...
